Forced expulsion of a citizen of Latvia from Ukraine

This story took place with a citizen of Latvia, was serving a sentence in Ukraine for committing a crime, and of course broke the migration regime not by his will.

Despite this, he was arrested and forced into Latvia forcibly.

Thus, on May 31, 2018, the Office for Combating Crimes Related to Trafficking inD Persons of the State Enterprise of the People’s Self-Defense in the Kiev region officially sent to the address of the UMSA of Ukraine in the Kiev region a communication regarding a relatively unlawful stay on the territory of Ukraine of a citizen of Latvia, which was condemned by SHIRYAEVSKY district court of the Odessa region to be punished. in the form of deprivation of liberty for committing a criminal offense.

Immediately after the release from the colony (on the same day), the said foreigner was detained by the employees of the department for preventing illegal migration, readmission and expulsion of the UMSA of Ukraine in the Kiev region, together with the operational officers of the UDPPSL GU Politechnical Institute in the Kiev region.

On May 31, 2018, the Belotserkovskoy District Court of the Kiev region adopted a decision to detain a citizen of the Republic of Latvia with the premises in Chernihiv PTPI of the GTS of Ukraine and the forced expulsion of a citizen of Ukraine from Ukraine. The court decision is addressed to immediate execution.

It was established that a citizen of the Republic of Latvia did not have a permanent place of residence and registration in Ukraine, work, and legal sources of income; he did not have grounds for temporary stay in the territory of our country, sufficient financial support for living in Ukraine and leaving for her limits; besides, he had no family or family ties.

Employees of the Department for the Prevention of Illegal Migration to the measures of the said foreigner were documented with a certificate of return to the country of origin and forcibly expelled from the territory of Ukraine on November 14, 2018, with the subsequent ban on entry into Ukraine for a term of 5 years in accordance with the requirements of Article 30 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Status of Foreigners and stateless persons “.

The specified foreigner was sent from the territory of Ukraine by air via the Boryspil Motor Company.
