E-Visa (a visa that is issued electronically) is a permit required for entry into Ukraine or for transit travel through its territory, which is issued remotely online – using the Internet and a special visa information and telecommunication system.

For entry into Ukraine, citizens from some countries can get an e-visa. However, to obtain it, in addition to the insurance policy and other documents, you must have a document that serves as the basis for entry, usually an invitation.

Without it, you will not receive a visa.

Business e-visa

When applying for an electronic visa for traveling for business purposes, one of the following documents is submitted:

1. invitation of a legal entity registered in Ukraine, executed in accordance with the established special rules;
2. invitation of the state body, state institution, state enterprise, state organization;
3. a document confirming the implementation of foreign investment in accordance with the legislation on the mode of foreign investment in Ukraine.

Tourist e-visa

When you make an electronic visa for travel with a tourist purpose documents are submitted confirming the tourist nature of the trip.

Private e-visa

When applying for an electronic visa for travel for private purposes, one of the following documents is submitted:

1. an invitation of an individual – a citizen of Ukraine, a foreigner or a stateless person who legally temporarily or permanently resides in the territory of Ukraine, executed in accordance with the Rules;
2. a document confirming the ownership of a foreigner in real estate in Ukraine;
3. confirming document that a foreigner is a spouse, father, mother, child of a citizen of Ukraine.

Medical e-visa

When applying for an electronic visa for travel with the purpose of treatment, an invitation from a health care institution is submitted.

Cultural e-visa

When applying for an electronic visa for travel in order to carry out activities in the field of culture, science, education, and sports, one of the following documents shall be submitted:

1. invitation of a legal entity registered in Ukraine, executed in accordance with the Rules;
2. invitation of the state body, state institution, state enterprise, state organization;
3. Appeals of the state body of a foreign state or international organization.

Service e-visa

When an electronic visa is issued for travel for the purpose of performing official duties, a foreign correspondent shall apply to a foreign correspondent or representative of a foreign media outlet.
