On January 1, 2019, the Amendments to the Rules for issuing visas for entry into Ukraine and transit through its territory, approved by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 954 of November 14, 2018, came into effect.
Significant changes:
The cost of issuing electronic visas to Ukraine increased from $ 65 to $ 85 ”
From now on, it will be necessary to pay the consular fee for the visa in electronic form at the tariff rate of $ 65.
Now, the e-visa (in electronic form) is issued as a one-time visa for up to 30 days for entry into Ukraine for business, private, tourist purposes, as well as for the purpose of treatment, activities in the field of culture, science, education, sports, with the purpose of performing official duties foreign correspondent or representative of a foreign media. “.
Earlier, the visa in electronic form was issued only as a single visa for a period of up to 30 days for traveling with a business or tourist purpose.
That is, the list of reasons for obtaining an electronic visa is expanded.
Another innovation concerns the abolition of the possibility of charging the consular fee in double size for the urgent issuance of visas or for their registration after hours.
That is, regardless of the timing and time of registration of a foreigner pays $ 85.

Previously, such an opportunity was for some categories of foreign citizens, for example, children under 6 years old, foreign Ukrainians, diplomats and employees of international organizations, other persons who enter to ensure the interests of Ukraine in the field of foreign and domestic policy. Now everyone must pay.
At the same time, the list of countries whose citizens have the right to receive an e-visa remained unchanged.
At the same time, having canceled the possibility of obtaining visas at airports for Indian citizens, they were not given the opportunity to receive an electronic visa.
